And a short report of our last concert:

The second concert of our Music by Jack’s Lake festival was held on Sunday 14th June.  Beautiful weather and a lovely sunset accompanied our brilliant musicians Ilona Domnich (soprano), Charles Mutter (piano/violin), James Gilbert (clarinet) and boy soprano, Jermaine Quashi.

The evening was attended by around 240 people of all ages, several music-loving dogs, and many brought along their picnics.

Set against the idyllic backdrop of Jack’s Lake on Monken Hadley Common, the evening delighted audiences and launched another inspiring season of music in the heart of our community.  The founding principle of the lakeside concerts is to bring our communities together around world class music performed in the beautiful natural setting beside the Lake, while also raising funds to improve and maintain this treasured open space for everyone to enjoy and support a music education bursary.

We ran out of printed programmes on the night (sorry!), so a copy is attached here for you.

And here are a few photos of the event.

The final concert in our summer festival will be on Saturday August 8th (6pm), so please join us then

We are enormously thankful to our various sponsors (details here), without whom the series would not be possible.
