2025 Festival of Summer Music by Jack’s Lake

2025 Festival of Summer Music by Jack’s Lake

OUR FINAL CONCERT this season will be on Sunday 3rd August at 6.30pm

Following the third concert of our Festival of Summer Music for 2025 on Sunday 20th July, our last concert will be held on Sunday 3rd August at 6.30pm.  Details can be seen here.

WEATHER UPDATE: The forecast is clear for this evening (although some rain possible earlier in the afternoon), so we’re good to go.

GETTING HERE: some emergency water pipe work (a burst on Friday night) means we are asking visitors to get to the concert via the entrance closest to JCOSS school (a hundred yards or so from the Northfield Road entrance).  Stewards will be on hand to direct and help you as needed, and signage will also guide you.

This is the LAST in a series of FOUR concerts being organised by local renowned opera singer Ilona Domnich, and hosted by Monken Hadley Common Trust on the shores of Jack’s Lake.  It follows our first three, highly successful concerts on 14th June, 6th July and 20th July.  The final concert will be held on Sunday 3rd August (6.30pm).

Entry to the concerts is free, but we will collect cash/card donations, and suggest a minimum of £10 per adult, to support preservation of the Common and a bursary for a young singer – proceeds of the concerts are shared equally between the Trust (to fund our work to maintain the Common), and World Heart Beat Music Academy (registered charity no 1139579) to establish a music bursary for young musicians (the Marcia Elton Vocal Bursary Programme).  Details of the previous recipient of the Bursary are available here.

Our heartfelt thanks to the various benefactors whose generosity has made this festival possible.  Details of these sponsors are included on the concert posters.  We are also seeking further corporate, charitable and individual sponsors – please follow this link to find out more (sponsorship options)
