09 Apr Engineering work at Jack’s Lake

From Monday 13^th April to Friday 24^th April we will be carrying out some important engineering works around Jack’s Lake, on Monken Hadley Common.

Our contractors, Maydencroft, will be bringing supplies and equipment to the site mostly on Monday 13^th and Tuesday 14^th, transporting them to the lake down the main footpath from Games Road (roughly near the Monken Hadley Common sign).  They will then be removing the equipment and making good on Thursday 23^rd and Friday 24^th.

Access to the lake and the closest footpaths will be restricted for safety reasons, and some diversions will be in place.  These are marked to allow visitors to continue to enjoy the Common.
